We are seeking a Systems Administrator/Senior Systems Administrator to provide support to the Company’s network, computer, and software infrastructures. This position affords numerous opportunities to learn and grow inside a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to wear many hats – to be flexible and resourceful in addressing new challenges as they arise. 


  • Deploy and maintain all aspects of the Company’s networks, computers, and software infrastructures
  • Perform system design and continuous process improvement to achieve industry best practices with guidance from outside experts
  • Assist with key projects as the primary technical resource, partnering with internal stakeholders and outside vendors to meet departmental and organizational goals
  • Build and maintain automated endpoint management solution(s) for Windows OS and MacOS supporting a distributed workforce, secure lab computers, servers, and other key systems
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate IT incidents reported by employees
  • Deploy and manage monitoring solutions for key IT infrastructure. Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base documentation for areas of responsibility, including but not limited to LAN/WAN diagrams, IT procedures, and training resources
  • Seek opportunities for standardization and automation of repetitive tasks
  • Other tasks as needed by Associate Director of IT

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/IS, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of demonstrated system administration or engineering experience with progressive responsibilities including designing and building environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced server and network issues in a timely manner; determine root cause, analyze, and document information
  • Expert level experience with Windows Severs, VMWare, ESXi, SAN/NAS storage
  • Expert level experience with IT asset management lifecycle for Windows OS and MacOS systems. Proven track record of developing key processes and procedures that support each stage of the IT client lifecycle with emphasis on client monitoring, patch management, and software deployment.
  • Experience securing MacOS, Windows OS, Windows Server 2016 or later in a cloud and hybrid computer environment
  • Experience with GxP, SOX compliance a plus
  • Experience with JAMF a plus
