Caribou is seeking an experienced Research Associate to join its R&D team at its facility in South San Francisco, CA. The candidate must be motivated, enthusiastic, professional and committed to working as a team player. The ideal candidate enlists confidence, comfort and a working knowledge of laboratory animals, with a background in animal husbandry, restraint and handling. In addition, experience with injection (IV, IP, SC, and PO) and blood draw techniques (RO bleed and cardiac puncture), along with rodent surgery and anesthesia experience is desirable. The candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, take direction from supervisors, and be accountable for their actions. They must possess a strong attention to detail and always strive to perform quality work.
